A Dead Poets Society Soundtrack
Wang Wei is among the group of great ancient Chinese poets, to creatively summarize his life we had conceptualized a movie, righteously titled A Dead Poets Society. The film is of a biographical drama of Wang's life, and for entertainment purposes we had included several songs that would go along with this movie. Enjoy!
The movie opens up to a scene in which young Wang Wei lies in the grass conceptualizing about his life to come. For this scene Marooned by Pink Floyd will be playing.
For the majority of Wang's life he serves as a high ranking government official, a life that may cause much stress. In recognition of himself unrelentingly being obligated to fulfill his civil duties Wang wishes to just be free. And then Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd starts playing.
Now, this is a movie about a poet, at some point in the movie he should probably be writing poetry, or in Wang's case painting as well. A beautiful song to write poety to would be Aruarian Dance by Nujabes.
During Wang Wei's life war ensue China, a conflict that played a huge role in Wang's life as well as his poetry. Soon his life is thrown into disarray and China faces war. As this happens Crystalize by Lindsey Stirling plays.
Of course, for a film to be great it must have a solemn ending, for Wang Wei never had to opportunity of living to see China at peace once again. As his life comes to an end, and things begin to die down a River Flows in You, by Yiruma plays perfectly with the scene.
